Windsor OR Wembley? Which one will YOU be celebrating?

Windsor OR Wembley? Which one will YOU be celebrating?

Little baby Louis may have tried to steal the limelight, but we know what you’re all really looking forward to. Months of build-up and speculation and the day is almost upon us. We’ve been counting down the days until that special moment, marking the culmination of years of passion and dedication. We feel we’ve been on the journey with them from the beginning; this will be a day to remember and we’re going to do it in style.

That’s right, Chelsea and Manchester United will be battling it out in the 2018 FA Cup final.

Oh yes, and there’s a small low-key affair taking place in Windsor. You may have heard Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be tying the knot (our invitation must have been lost in the post). Whichever festivity floats your boat, this all comes down to the same thing - time for a party. Scandalously, there’s no extra Bank Holiday planned (though maybe two in one month is enough anyway?), but we’re going to make sure we make the most of it in any case.

Here at Rinkit we can provide you with everything you need to put on the perfect get-together. We offer Free UK Delivery on all orders over £35 and even Express Next Day Delivery if you leave it all to the last minute and decide on a more spontaneous bash (but seriously, you’ve had plenty of notice about this - get your act together!). Consider us your one stop party shop - just add the drinks… and maybe a couple of big screens to make sure you don’t miss any of the action.

We’re banking on sunshine and high temperatures, the perfect excuse to keep the party going on outside into the evening. We have deck chairs, sun loungers, outdoor tables and chairs so you accommodate plenty of guests. Our fire pits are ideal for huddling around when it gets a little cooler, while our gazebos can shelter you from the sun and even some of the less welcome vagaries of the British weather.

Should the weather work against you, our trestle tables are great for serving up your feast or for setting up a bar area indoors. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, these all fold up flat and take up next to no space in the shed or under the stairs ready for the next celebration.

Set the scene

Chalk Menu Board

Our wall hangings are perfect for setting the scene whichever event you’re planning to watch.

Post the sentiments of the hour with a Nicola Spring Wall Plaque. Wish the new Mr and Mrs a fairy-tale ending with our ‘...and they lived happily ever after’ sign.

Alternatively, avert potential sporting disagreements with the wide ranging ‘Be nice or leave’ hanging.

Why not write your own message on a slate notice board or even run a sweepstake to keep it interesting!

Keep hydrated

Invest in one of our drinks coolers to save you from having to run in and out of the kitchen to keep everyone ‘hydrated’.  Whether you plan on toasting the happy couple with a glass of bubbly or knocking back a few cold ones while you cheer on your team, we have an array of glassware to keep the bar going.

Both beverages are, of course, valid accompaniments the other way round too!

However, if you think you might fancy something a little different, why not stock up on our cocktail making equipment and try rustling up this cocktail inspired by Harry and Meghan’s lemon and elderflower wedding cake?

Elderflower Collins

You will need...

  • A large measure gin or vodka
  • Small measure elderflower cordial, or liqueur such as St Germaine if you’re feeling reckless
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Soda water
  • Ice

And to create...

Add the gin/vodka, elderflower and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker along with some ice cubes.

Shake with vigour and pour into a long glass.

Top with soda water and garnish with a slice of lime, or a sprig of mint.

Drink with caution!

Mix it up!However you decide to celebrate, enjoy your time with your family and friends.

And remember, whatever you need, chances are we have it, so don’t hesitate to take a browse around our website or get in contact.

And may the best team win!
