As one of the nations favourite drinks, and the alcoholic beverage the UK is famous for, it was only right that Rinkit! expand into the market! Gin was traditionally made from juniper berries, however modern day gin is usually made from a distilled spirit, usually vodka, infused and flavoured with botanicals.
Our range of Copa de Balon (balloon gin glasses) is the Spanish glass design that has swept the world by storm with the resurgence in popularity of gin. The Copa de Balon is a stemmed glass that has a large round bowl with a wide opening. The bowl shape is designed to trap aromas of the gin inside the glass, giving a better taste as the drinker’s nose is able to get closer to the drink too! The large bowl also allows for plenty of ice to be added, with the added volume of liquid also meaning the ice does not melt as quickly. The perfect Copa de Balon glass that Rinkit! has to offer is also the most popular gin glass we sell: the Rink Drink Spanish Balloon Glass.
Of course, the traditionally British way of serving up gin would be in a highball glass or tumbler. Both gin tumbler and highball glasses are perfect for serving up a G&T or a gin cocktail. A tumbler is great for short mixers or gin with ice. For tall cocktails, or just the fan favourite G&T, that require a larger quantity of mixer, highball glasses are an excellent choice. We recommend using the Argon Tableware Classic Highball glass to serve up your gin glasses. Marrying sleek contemporary styling with crystal clarity and a robust construction that will quench the thirst of even the most demanding drinkware connoisseur.

Gin glasses can look a few different ways. For example, you can have gin glasses inspired by the Spanish Copa De Balon shape, so they have a large bowl shape, while you can also have gin glasses that are tall and slim, known as highball glasses.
Gin glasses should leave plenty of room for packing in fruit and ice for a flavourful drink. Gin glasses vary in size a lot, from 240ml all the way to 940ml. Gin glasses and size will depend on personal preference of how much you like to pack in fruit and ice.
Gin glasses can also be called Copa de Balon glasses, this is taken from the Spanish for gin glasses that have a balloon-like shaped bowl. You can also have gin glasses that are called Highball Glasses, these are tall and slim glasses. We have a variety of these gin glasses available.
